I agree that this war in some aspects is needless.

I also agree that helping ease the burden of those Americans struggling is also necessary.

My concern is that since many folks feel that electing a minority (actually a white man is getting to be the minority in America, sooner, rather than later) is the way to go, I am concerned that this will be yet another platform to subsidize more irresponsibile funding.

And for the record, as -Jrabbit points out there is enough deficit now in place.

But did GWB cause that with his administration?

Or are we as Americans simply paying the piper for years of cutting military spending, now we are playing "catch up"?

But, as to not stary too far from the intent of the OP, I say the democrats split hairs and now as we draw closer to actually having a "single" candidate, I stand on the belief that America is not ready for Hillary or Obama
