Its funny, I've never understood that attitude from americans (ie unthinking compliance with authority). I've had some look at me like I've grown a second head when I mention a few incidents I've had with police who think they've been "annointed" when they put on a badge.

NB: Most cops I've run into have been professional while doing their job and they have my respect.
