Some of these films even are in the majority opinion on these issues.

It used to be that Hollywood participated in the government's propaganda. But that hasn't been the case for the last 50 years.

My personal opinion is that Americans don't go into self flagellation. If Hollywood wants to put the hate on America, then middle America (and not so middle America) checks out. Maybe they just don't support crappy films.
