MAX PAYNE is PG-13? Seriously? That one with Markie-Mark?

I think it's as effective a video game movie you're ever going to see. I think getting an R rating or not doesn't impact the movie one bit. I'm surprised we eventually did get away with what we did get away with. I'm happy for anyone to watch the movie. I say, "Bring It On!"

I have searched the internet and found some images from the movie now that it has its new rating.

Seamless...I swear it still looks as violent and raw as that trailer led me to believe... Here's the question I want to know...can Max Payne's noir and over the top violence be fit and retained in a PG-13 rating? More importantly for a game that was AIMED for a M-Rated audience why dumb the rating down for a younger audience who shouldn't of touched the game in the first place? Wont the younger rating attract kids to go out and get there parents to buy the M-Rated game they shouldn't even be playing? Look I'm not saying more violence makes a better movie as it's obvious a good script is more important then any amount of blood and guns you put into a movie but it seems necessary here to make this movie more then just a cash cow.

My brain...it hurts!
