Obama's timing is stupid.

While Pakistan did feel compelled to try a policy of appeasement for awhile, they've now realized this was a mistake. They're now stepping up and are again taking on al Qaeda.

To threaten military invasion of one of our most critical allies when they've finally gotten off the mark is counter productive.
