Hello & welcome Feather! I would start here for your learning. I'm older too & this is where I started. I visit a few other forums every now & then, but this is nice & cozy & everyone is so helpful. Meditation is probably the most important to start with plus grounding & protection. Laura, Pagan Medium, has podcasts in her signature with meditations plus she has classes.
