Ok, to be fair "kind shit" is very harsh, but I don't they were given enough depth. Malak could have been cool but aside from being Revan's apprentice you have no idea who he is (same as Darth Maul in episode one), and Revan was ok, the twist in the tale being excellent.

Still, I don't think Revan or Malak are as cool as Vader.
