Or, you could just borrow CD's from friends and rip them to .mp3. No 'net trail.

Not that I would ever do anything so immoral or illegal... yeah. That's the ticket.


Seriously, though... I actually BUY music from artists I respect and want to support, I believe in trading value for value, and I've received a great deal of pleasure from much of the music I listen to.
I do the same. I have purchased several albums and singles that could have gotten by cheaper means . Usually albums where you can see they put a lot of time and effort into the writing and recording and >1/2 the tracks I would consider good.

Not the case for those groups or singers who continually pump out album upon album with complete filler and one marketing supported "hit"
