Q Cubed, who are you raging at exactly? People born in the 70's may not even be thirty yet are not running the country or media.

The point of the article was merely to point out how people grew up in the past when kids were not wrapped in cotton wool, and there was more freedom, and less interference in the minutiae of people's lives. Instead, you seem to have got into a hysterical hissy-fit and started making absurd assumptions about the opinions of thousands of millions of people that you don't know.

The article was not even written exclusively from the boomer POV, it includes Gen X as well - the first to grow up with video games, angry music and goth. Calm down.
