Im sorry, I dont understand that sentence. Je ne comprends pas ce phrase.
I said "IIUC" I did not know the board was not involved in the pay increase.
He certainly did make a mistake then, and Im glad he apologized. It would certainly be a shame if the bank stopped trying to improve its lending standards because of this.
