Hello Mhairead,

I have the book and found it profoundly moving! But I haven't seen the film, I'll look it up on YouTube. Thanks for the post & interview.
My eldest grandson is on the spectrum, not as severe as little Rowan but never the less has trouble coping with life most of the time (he has ADHD and Aspergers) He has just started riding lessons with his school and has fallen in love with a horse named Norman! I'm just so pleased that riding Norman has
given him so much joy and it's great that he relates so well with him.
