i had this often when i was a kid some 10+ years ago. but only when awakening.. i was scared and almost hallucinating. i was like i can't wake up i can't wake up! please mommy wake me up!

did not even know it had a name untill now.. any significance to it?

i didn't know either till a month or so ago. for me the biggest significance in this is that i can tell when i am astral projecting and when i am in paralysis. and then i feel better and can relax knowing that whatever is out there can't touch my astral body because it is still inside. you don't usually see these types of things when you are astral projecting. only if you think them up.
