one problem i see about the whole twin flame /soul mate idea is the fact that it would keep one looking for this romanticized, ideal, "perfect" fairytale mate. the prince to sweep one off one's feet and make everything okay. you would then spend the day staring into each other's eyes while simultaneously solving all of the worlds problems. there would be no arguing it would be constant love, peace and unending energy transfers.

i think the chances of finding such a person are pretty slim. (especially in 3d)i also think that if we take a minute to look around, then we realize that everything is okay and perfect right at this moment.

my "problem" growing up was that i found everyone lovable and was willing to open my heart to just about anyone. everyone was "prince charming" in their own way. it took a lot of "being dumped" before i became a little wiser. although i still love these past princes i realize we weren't meant to be in a relationship but they were part of my learn/teach process.

since then i have discovered that trust is one of the most important things when opening one's heart to someone and that common interests and chemistry are vital as well. although differences are important too because how boring would it be if everyone was alike.

the problem with looking for the "perfect mate" is that real love might be right in front of you but you are blinded by what you are expecting to see.

love,
megan
