Although religion was first and finally mentioned in the first Movie the movement doesn't cater for a spiritual side to human nature and believes we just need our basic human needs, food, water, roof over our head and love.

However recently despite realising personally you will have a hard task depleting the world of religion, I've come to realise this is a very important part that needs to be addressed or indeed the spiritual needs of the human too.

I do believe what I've discovered in David's Teachings is the "missing link" that we all need.
Hi Cee! And welcome.

I think it is Fresco's and Joseph's deliberate intention to keep their spiritual beliefs separate from their vision of a new financial and societal structure. And I think they are keen to do so. They don't want to turn something very practical and down to Earth into something that could be interpreted as cult-like.

I think they are doubly keen because, from what I understand, in the future peoples' individual sense of spirituality within, thus empowerment, will be cultivated and respected. Where as the religions of today tend to disempower the individual. So it is perfect for Fresco and Joseph to leave a person's spiritual journey for that person to discover.

I totally agree with what you said here:

I've come to realise this is a very important part that needs to be addressed or indeed the spiritual needs of the human too.

I do believe what I've discovered in David's Teachings is the "missing link" that we all need. I think that spiritual/soul awareness and evolution is the crux or linchpin of the coming golden age. When the majority of this planet truly understands that we are eternal, undying souls we will start to see genuine peace and cooperation. A profound spiritual revolution would all but abolish fear. And when people finally stop acting like scared squirrels competing with each other to be sure they have enough nuts, this world will be a much more calm place.

However, without a spiritual revolution, I do not see this planet ever changing. The veil, cutting us off from our higher selves, will keep us as children who must continually re-member and relearn basic lessons.

In the Hopi Prophecy, we are still considered Animals, and the Human Age is just now beginning. This seems to be true to me. It seems clear that humans, at the moment, are still just monkeys fighting over bananas.
