all was going along well, until the pt placed his hand over my head and chest area...without touching me...and my body began spasming out. i began shivering and quaking involuntarily. he stopped the session because he didnt know what was happening. i didn't either.

i practise cranio sacral therapy. this reaction can often happen. it is simply release happening through the nervous system. the body has its own wisdom - it was doing what it needed to do once it had been giving the space through the pt session.
