Default Does your soul have a shelf life??
i was pondering this last night and wondering if a soul/spirit has a sort of shelf life.

if we are reincarnated and have been many times then we probably do have really old souls although rebirth amnesia seems to make us forget any previous incarnations for the most part but if you could remember past lifes and a lot of them would you find that your soul was past its best, too tired to carry on!?

obviously if energy never dies it only transforms then what happens to really really old souls? do they eventually die or are transformed? if they are transformed what are they transformed into and can they ever be trasformed back into a soul or spirit that can be used in a human body?

the reason why i ask is that i know people and know of people who have come to the end of their current life and got to the point where they are ready to go, they need to because they are too tired to carry on with their life and for them it is the end (naturally or otherwise?)

if we are all reincarnated all the time them our souls must be billions and billions of years old!? i wonder if they could even be older than the earth itself espcially if we came from somewhere else?

i am only 34 at the moment and not ready to go yet, not by a long shot but i know one day i will be, when i die will i really die? im not sure if i want to be lingering around for a few billion years? or maybe my actual soul/spirit thinks differently from the organic brain in my current head!? so many questions.
