Almost all political parties field candidates based on religion, caste and language in almost all the constituencies. For the Dravidian parties and few other parties in India, secularism means it is `Anti Hindu'. But privately they conduct lot of religious rites for their own prosperity.

Only certain muslim countries have declared that Islam is the official religion. Atleast they are honest to that extent.

BJP, Muslim League and Akali Dal are more honest parties subscribing to one particular religion.

Even Ambedkar embraced Bhuddism and Late Kanshiram was creamated as per Bhuddhist rites.

Secularism in India is practiced by Indian politicians for their own convenience.
