Having to take different yardsticks to judge Tamil films has always been a source of disappointment that I have carefully hidden.

The other way round also hold good for Malayalis

Why I pointed out these movies was because Jayaram's strong area has always been comedy. As a result people overlook his performances in these movies though the movies themselves are widely discussed.
