What a comeback for Mohanlal!

In spite of heavy rains, his Naran has taken an extraordinary opening all over Kerala and Bangalore. The film which opened on September 3, Saturday has been declared a hit by the trade.
According to Alex George of Central pictures, the distributors of the film: "Naran has taken a fantastic opening and the best part is that there is no negative report about the film. It is a hit, how big we will know only in the coming days".

In Kozhikode, it is running in two theatres Kairali and Apsara with a combined seating capacity of nearly 2500 and so far all shows in both the theatres are full. In Trivandrum, police had to conduct mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd that turned violent in front of Sreekumar and Sreevisakh theatres as they could not get tickets!

And at India's most prestigious multiplex- PVR Forum in Bangalore Naran tickets for the gold class (Rs 500 per ticket) which contains only 32 seats has been sold out for the week!

Meanwhile Mohanlal himself saw the film at a special show arranged for him and his family and friends in Chennai's Devi- Sridevi preview theatre. Later P.Vasu, the Tamil director hugged him after the show and told him-"Super, you were amazing".
