Kamal‘s Viswaroopam has been floundering for some time because Sonakshi Sinha, who was chosen as the female lead, left the project. Initially Selvaraghavan was to direct the film but due to creative differences, he also had to part ways with Kamal.

Sameera Reddy is the lucky lady to land the part. Viswaroopam is a mighty undertaking with Kamal at the helm. He will be directing the film and has also done the screenplay and dialogues for it. Produced under his banner ‘Rajkamal International‘, Viswaroopam will be made on a mammoth budget and is being touted as the costliest film to be made in this part of the world. It will be made in three languages( Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi).
