Sapeurs - Big pimpin' in the DRC.
 

I find this interesting. It seems to me judging by the houses and the region that people would not be able to afford clothing to dress up in and that it would be even harder to keep it clean. Of course what do I know about the Congo? Pretty much nothing. I find some of the color choices to be gaudy but to each their own. I suppose this is a subculture of sorts. Does anyone know anything about? Is this culture localize to the DRC only?

I feel sorry for the kid for loosing an eye but the aesthetic of the eye patch just adds to the outfit.
