I'm tried of the bigotry.
Advocates for open borders argue for Open Borders on grounds such as the following: From a human rights perspective, free migration may be seen to complement Article 13 of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights: (1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. (2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.[15] American bioethicist Jacob M. Appel has argued that "treating human beings differently, simply because they were born on the opposite side of a national boundary," is inherently unethical. According to Appel, such "birthrights" are only defensible if they serve "useful and meaningful social purposes" (such as inheritance rights, which encourage mothers and fathers to work and save for their children), but the "birthright of nationality" does not do so.[16] It has been proposed that borders between the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) countries be opened.[17 |

One country can only sustain so many people. With all the non-English speaking immigrants America wouldn't be America anymore and it wouldn't be fair on us. There's also increased poverty, crime rates will probably go up, etc. Those who advocate for open borders can start by openung the borders of their private property to strangers |

Why ? Private ownership doesn't with clash free movement of labor and capital. |

What is America? Open borders do not take away state sovereignty. It's a well known fact that people assimilate in the country they immigrate to. Actually a blatant falsehood as represented by every ethnic enclave, refugee camp, Balkanized and tribalistic nation in the world.
I am not against immigration, but it has to be controlled and governed in a way to make assimilation happen. The USA is fairly good at it, but our capacity for it is not limitless. Anyway, our border is open for exit, so if you're really "tired of the bigotry", you always have the option to leave for greener pastures. |

Certainly but opening borders means you get not only labour but additional stuff along. In the hypothetical situation where immigrants are teleported to the workplace and then send back by cosmic rays what you are saying would be true. However IRL there are certain externalities that make free market outcome sociallysuboptimal |

When the economy picks up, the authorities will once again turn their heads, and people will not be so kean to the "immigration problem" . You can trace the "immigration problem" right back to when placer gold was no longer laying in bunches as the CA gold rush wound down. As the economy goes down the concerns of the immigration go up, when the economy picks up, the laws are no longer enforced. The US Needs enforce current laws ALWAYS, or change the laws.
