African Americans with Mozabite or Uygur

McDonald calculated my Euro as follows:
Irish=0.193 Mozabite=0.064 Uygur=0.05

I haven't come across any other African Americans with Mozabite or Uygur results and was wondering if there are any here.

A false Uyghur reading is the result of having mixed Amerind/Siberian/European segments in your genome. I am partly Siberian, too, but this is just my Amerindian ancestry. You can see my results thread for news on that. All this is is clockwork. The calculators try to fit your genome to various populations around the world based on likelihood.

He hand-calculated me because the program gave him Russian/Jewish. Not sure if being hand-calculated makes a difference in the accuracy.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had these scores.

I'm ~2% Siberian at the Harrappa Project. The Uyghur is pretty logical possibility for people with mixed Siberian/East Asian and European, especially since he hand-analyzed the genome in your case. But this is just covering your Amerind ancestry by reading it with the European.

How about Mozabite? FYI - I scored in the 7.5 - 8% range on Eurogenes 13 and DNAtribes as Mediterranean, so I'm guessing that's it. Plausible???

Mozabite is a mixed SSA and North African cluster. If you have any stray Middle East segments in your McDonald painting that combined with the Euro could also lead to that as an output. Again, it's all probabilities and chance and determining best fits in the analyses. You likely are not Mozabite in any serious way.

I have Senegambian ancestry with Sahelian influence and even I had no substantial Berber or Mozabite in the mix. So I doubt you would.

It's just interesting how the calculation produced these results. I know they don't represent a direct link to people in my past. I just found it interesting that I haven't found any other Afams (not even my mom and dad) with these clusterings. I guess even more evidence that we are really very unique.

Uygur pops up for Euro / East Asian or Native American admixture calculators, because they are an admixed population. McDonald didn't give me that, but Dodecad Oracle does.
