T.Hawk is not Mexican, he is an Apache Native that migrated to Mexico due to Shadowloo operations

I know he looks more like an Apache, but official Capcom sources put his nationality as Mexican.

Seems he is not Apache, but Thunderfoot.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T._Hawk#T._Hawk
is one of the four new characters introduced in Super Street Fighter II. A member of the fictional Thunderfoot Native American clan, T. Hawk's homeland was taken over 30 years prior to the events of the game by M. Bison, who also murdered his father, Arroyo Hawk. T. Hawk enters the tournament to reclaim his homeland from Bison. During the development of Super Street Fighter II, T. Hawk was originally named "Geronimo", a name which was changed after it was suggested by an American staff member that the name Geronimo might be seen as racially offensive.[18T. Hawk, since his introduction, has been billed from Mexico and his backstory explains he was born in the Sonora desert and resides in the Monte Albán plains.

Cholos, Apaches, Mariachis and masked wrestlers...that's all we are to these Anime artists? It sickens me. No wonder I have always disliked Anime.

That's part of Mexican culture, what's the problem?

Those cholos posted by El R5 have nothing to do with Anime or Japanese video games (which were what i had in mind when opening the thread), they are from a U.S. developed video game.

It is part of our culture but, still, I would like these stereotypes to go away.

Yes, maybe those cholos aren't from Anime but they're still part of an American video game and it's sad to see that here in the U.S. we're just seen as delinquents and/or cholos.

Seems yall forgot about Armor King - Tekken

Though his background is a bit of a mystery, I'm fairly certain he is supposed to be Mexican.

I think it would be awesome if Mortal Kombat added an Aztec warrior or atleast a fighter who is inspired by them to their games. Think of all the awesome fatality moves that could be done!!

There is Nightwolf, but he appeases to people's stereotypes about Native Americans.
