Default The Relationship Between Dominicans And Puerto Ricans
Were there any friction among these two groups in their existence in the US? Do both group see each other as one monolithic group?

Not directly, we aren't still part of the US per se, we are only a Commonwealth, not a State.

I thought they had more beef with each other in NYC. I read online a lot that DRs diss Nuyoricans because they side with Aframs and that in NY ...DRs and Aframs do not get along.

Our beef with them is that some of them thinkk PR is another province of the DR and they want "to mandar" and how they like tuo "implantar bandera" in places that doesn't belong to them(and that is some, not all of them are like this)

On the US mainland the relationship is better, same goes with the one of Doms with Haitians.

No, because of his accent, also that PR Blacks look different from Dom ones.

I heard a Black PR got deported to DR because they thought he was an illegal Dominican so to the white Boricuas, they just see a Black person. How do the Dominican Blacks look different from PR Blacks according to you?

Yeah that's true. Like Tego for example doesn't look continental (Indigenous mixed) at all. Neither does Roberto Clemente or Schomburg but your dad would be called a "Zambo" in Colombia.
