I have a question to Africans, why if you despise Europeans so much for Colonialism, Slavery, Mining resources and Oil, do you seek to emulate his civilization?

Why did you convert to European religions such as Anglicanism and Catholicism, as opposed to Muslim countries who were colonised yet kept their religion.

On the one hand you say I'm so proud to be African, we want nothing to do with the white man and on the other you seek to emulate his entire civilization instead of going back to your pre-colonial roots as certain Muslim countries did such as Afghanistan or Eastern European countries going back to their cultural and religious roots with fervour after 85 years of forced Communism.

i ALREADY COMPLAINED THAT THE ""WESTERNIZED PARTS OF aFRICA" title was wrong, and decided to make a plain "Urban Africa thread", how ever I changed my mind, and decided o continue with the old thread and its title, simce the mods coould change it to something more proper.

Anyways, goodluck with your thread............ nothing unexpected.

Errr, there are Muslim and christian native Africans, that were musliim or christians, before Europeans even set foot in Africa......, christoabity was introduced into mano other African locations , side by side colonialism..... And there are those who still practice African traditional religions....... Some groups practice the three, such as the Yoruba, while in other groups, other religions are more prominent, such as Islam , amOng the Fulani or Somalis, or christianity among Ethiopians or Igbos
