Default Samuel Jackson voted for Obama because he's black
I used to make jokes about some black celebrities/rap artists voting for Obama not for his politics, but his skin color. It looks like I was right to an extent.

Mr. Jackson, what do you have to say for yourself?

Barack Obama's politics meant nothing to Samuel L. Jackson because the "Pulp Fiction" star only voted for the president for one reason and one reason only ... because he's black.

In an interview with Ebony magazine, Jackson explained, "I voted for Barack because he was black. 'Cuz that's why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them ... That's American politics, pure and simple. [Obama's] message didn't mean [bleep] to me.

Jackson then went on to drop the N-word several times when discussing Obama, telling the mag, "When it comes down to it, they wouldn't have elected a [bleep]. A [bleep] is scary. Obama ain't scary at all. [Bleeps] don't have beers at the White House. [Bleeps] don't let some white dude, while you in the middle of a speech, call [him] a liar. A [bleep] would have stopped the meeting right there and said, ‘Who the [bleep] said that?' I hope Obama gets scary in the next four years, 'cuz he ain't gotta worry about getting re-elected." http://www.tmz.com/2012/02/11/barack...uel-l-jackson/

I'm absolutely certain people of all races do this, but it doesn't make it any less stupid.

Voting for 'own race' is symbolic in this case. It means voting for undeprivillegged, miniroties, voting for new, for change and all that. Obama symolised it. Nothing wrong about it. Political programmes of Democrats and republicans seem to be very similar now anyway.
I dont believe Jackson is 'racist' in this case. Probaby if a Mexican was starting he would suppport him too- as a minority candidate ( I am guessing). Amerika seem to be still quite racist country in some respects, the first one to point others their sins but with a lot of filth in own backyard.

(obviously, I like amerikans, dont get me wrong, but they are not ideal)

That isn't relevant to the point I'm trying to make, but okay.

I'm a minority myself. I'm probably better off than some other minority groups, but I don't really fit into the "whitebread" mold either.

That said, I voted for Obama as well. But the difference is, it wasn't because of the color of his skin. He spoke to the little guy, and appealed to him. Although there have been almost no meaningful, palpable changes in regards to race relations (or anything else) around here since he was elected.

Conversely, I know some black dudes who wanted Herman Cain to win.

Before I read the words right out tha horse's mouth, euh, so to speak, ... I was about to say that in my opinion he probably did that because of how his life went.

Moving on, they say a number of whites voted for him cuzza that.

I voted for him cause we're from the same ethnic group, but still I ain't got my money back, he promised me "Change!".....

I'm afraid to say it, but Obama isn't a Nigger and he doesn't have a Nigger mentality. He's wise, sagacious and erudite...Nilotic Mentality of wanting to learn more.

disgusting.
and we have evidence in this topic that it worked. However a part of his success has to be blamed on the opposition, McCain and especially Palin were not that appealing, to say the least.

this picture is completely disgusting:

I think he is not Jew, otherwise he would have already became President or at least get media attention.
I don't like many of his proposals but he is the only one that doesn't sound like a cave man, also he is not into the pocket of the lobbyist.

right..

I dont think the US will ever have a jewish president, and it shouldn't too. Would be bad news for Israel and for the lobby.
