Default Libyan rebels force black Africans to eat flags in cage
It seems like the pseudo-Arabs are as racist as ever:

Is this the treatment blacks will receive in the post-revolutionary Arab world?

It seems like a great propaganda tool to scare of potential immigrants from entering Libyan territory on their way to Europe, iknow these immigrants have been a problem for their society for some time now, so i doubt this kind of treatment is anything new, most Arabs iknow are racist against black people, they use the Arabic term meaning slave when talking about them..we see similar stuff from all over the mid east, from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, mostly in their treatment of maids and such not native to the region..

The term you are looking for is Abeed.

A lot of Gaddafi's allies were south saharans from Fezzan. I did hear of him luring tuareg from neighboring Algeria and Niger, with the promise of providing money/wealth and land as a form of payment for their services. Doesn't explain many of the sub-saharan migrant workers being slaughtered though. Especially since a majority of the pro-Gaddafi forces were Libyan.

Mercenaries my ass.
