African diasporans across america
Hey guys. Which diasporans other than African Americans do you see most in your area. Besides aframs what is the next African descended majority here?
Also what type of afro phenom is most common? I was looking around me. There's pretty much every diasporan here but while aframs are diverse all others are not very varied. |

As for your question/statement that actually made sense: Haitians and Anglo-Caribbeans actually ARE the majority of "Black" people in Brooklyn... |
You should ask people where they are from when they answer the question.
New York City The best way to answer your question is, "What don't I see?" LOL. There aren't many Cape Verdeans here although I grew up in a CV neighborhood when I lived in Massachusetts, so I'm quite familiar with them. There are so many Diasporans here that I am beginning to have trouble identifying where they're from. When only African American/blacks, and people from the Anglo West Indies were common, it was easier. There are a lot of West Africans here as well. |

In my area it's mostly Aframs, followed by Ethiopians and black Anglophone Caribbean folks.
