yes wikipedia and an interview where he said that his paternal grand-father was portuguese.
So the rest is ethnic French then? If that's the case, I'm pretty he's got enough French ancestry to just be French and probably considers himself ethnic French despite one Portuguese grandparent.

Although, talent wise, only top players out of those would be Alves and Sanchez. Afellay has potential but Keita and Adriano are past their best years.

Thiago Alcântara is one of Barcelona's best non-white young players though and potential future star for Barcelona and even the Spanish national team.

Anyways, Barcelona has had non white star players in the past like Eto'o and Ronaldinho.

Barça is the best team and with almost only white players ,there are only one bi-racial is eric abidal and guess what he is french !
Fucking Shitty Far$a has a lot of non-White players or mixed ones: Keita, Abidal, Busquets, Xavi, Puyol, Adriano, Messi, Thiago, Alexis Pérez or another similar surname, Mascherano, Montoya, Alves, Dos Santos, Cesc and a Berber Moroccan whose name I can remember just now...

Real Mandril, that shitty team, has a lot also: Pepe, Ramos, Sahin, Khedira, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzama, Marcelo, Altintop, Arbeloa (¿?), Varane, HiguaÃ*n, di MarÃ*a, Diarra, Mendes and Özil...

---------- Post added 2012-06-02 at 11:47 ----------

Barca are probably still the best team but they had a terrible year and came out with a single trophy (Copa Del Ray).

Anyways, the majority of their best players are ethnic Spanish (Catalans mostly) but they are an exception in the football world. Most football teams aren't like that.

However, things will probably change with Barca once Xavi, Iniesta and Puyol retire. They will still have Fabregas, Messi, Pique, etc. but they might not have as much top Catalan talent unless their youth teams keep pumping out top players.
Not exactly: they won Copa del Rey, Mundialito pestiñoso, Supercopa de España and European Supercup...

Blacks make good center and back players, but the French have take the piss. This includes the club teams as well as the national team. They bring masses of African kids over and when one or two of them are good football players, they celebrate this like crazy.

What more do you expect from France? Even their greatest legends are foreign or muslim (Thuram, Zeynettin Zidan, Ribery). Nowadays the natives are all bad players. Is Valbuena going to save France? Gignac, Gourcouff are not the type to give orders to the "blacks" on the pitch and demean them on camera..

yes i agree, but if he had been 25% black,75% french i wouldn't say the same ,like i said before french and portuguese are pretty close genetically so it doesn't make a big difference.

yeah but martinican are part-white even if not 50%-50% more like 25%white 75% black in average.

Only one of this is a somewhat respected trophy (Copa del Rey). That's what I meant but you meant it literally.

Well, a player would probably not identify as ethnic French if he/she was 1/4 black unless he/she look predominantly Euro. Otherwise, they would identify as bi-racial or Black/African French like how most bi-racial British players identify as Black British.

Man, if you tell in South America or Mexico that Mundialito pestiñoso is not the greatest Trophy you can achieved, apart from the World Cup, they will laugh at you.

But you are right.

Because Mundialito pestiñoso is a fucking shit that only worths to collect some money (European and Spanish perspective, of course...) The rest travel to Japan in the mood of conquest the highest peak.

Well, the problem with the FIFA Club World Cup is that it's only 12 years old and the UEFA Champions League winning team doesn't give a shit about it and the fact that the rest of the federations in the world can't match the club talent of UEFA.

If CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, CAF and AFC improve to the standard of UEFA one day, then it will matter.

Otherwise, it's a micky mouse cup like the rest of the crap Barca won this year other than the Copa del Rey.

Not to mention that the Champions League and the Libertadores winner only make 2 games, while the other have to play 4 matches.

Not exactly, Sir...

It changed its denomination, but the Trophy is old enough to be considered an important one:

Being honest, I consider the Spanish Super Cup more important than some European domestic Championships.

Yeah, but most people haven't heard of its original name. Regardless, I think it's a "micky mouse" trophy.

I do not support any club...

But I like to laugh at those who lose...

P. S. - I dislike especially Real Mandril, Catalerdos from the Meseta, and Español (why the fuck those Catalerdos named one of their useless teams as "Spaniard"?)

Drogba could have played in the French national team since he grew up in France, but he refused it. Yeah, he has good sense and patriotism with their native land.

I hope team with blacks not win the tournament - that goes for France, England, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Germany, and even Denmark, it has 2 negroes these days. Opprobrious, yuck!

I doubt it's racist against White people, if those Africans weren't good enough they wouldn't be selected, Africans are often better adpet at rioting, hunting, physical pursuits, commit a disproportionate amount of sexual and violent crimes. They are more primeval and animalistic than us Europeans in the very essence of their being, and are often stronger and better at sports.

Apparently they weren't good enough to make the cut, now stop whining you crybaby! If they want to be selected for the team, they're just going to have to work harder.

In general, Africans are faster and more agile, so they have an advantage from the very start. Besides, soccer players usually come from impoverished backgrounds, and probably there are more Africans than ethnically-French in the French lower economical class.
