Lesser of two evils(There's always someone that's has one irksome/nonsensical view on an issue). I hoped Fred Karger would still be in this...He was nonpartisan but now I see he was moved to a Republican ticket. All in all though...I don't know what to think about Obama's presidency thus far. Was he not handed a rotten deal because he inherited the economy that was on the brink of a recession? Or is the consensus that it was his fault? Did we expect that he would magically fix things in one term? I made a list of all of the candidates last year and crossed out the political loonies(Cain, Bachmann. Have you heard her speak?) Pawlenty had some good ideas too...Coupled with experience.

This argument not entirely valid, as Black vote is usually over 90% Democrat and by your logic a lot of White people voted for McCain because he is White. |

Neither does Powell duncey. He's a first generation Jamaican-American and an MGM. Obama's ancestors certainly were free men. That's because he is. You guys just want a Black John Kerry I didn't vote for the white John Kerry. I'm either voting for Ron Paul, Joseph Kony, or Gary Johnson. |

And Jamaican blacks weren't descended from slaves? yes, thats the beauty of it! Who am I being lumped with, exactly? I didn't vote for the white John Kerry. I'm either voting for Ron Paul, Joseph Kony, or Gary Johnson. The change is in the 99%. It doesn't matter who's president. I put money in my pocket.... |

Barry was puffed up by white leftists and he's always been "the great white hope." KRS-One was right on the money when he said something like "they just put a black face on the new world order." A few have even called him a house negro, implying that he's simply a suck-up/lackey to people like the Clintons, Pelosi, Reid, etc. (i.e. the white leftist establishment).
The guy has no executive experience political whatsoever and I've even heard a couple of dems moaning about how they wish Hillary was elected over this clown. Somewhat older but lawl: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...n-chances.html |

The majority of blacks in the US vote Democrat.
The southern Democrats founded the Klan. Notorious southern bigot Bull Connor was a Democrat, as was Robert Byrd (who was also in the Klan). Abolitionists, white and black, were all northern Republicans. What became Civil Rights was begun by Republicans like Eisenhower; Dixiecrats consistently opposed civil rights and fair treatment for blacks in the US. A Republican President (Grant) passed the 15th Amendment, granting equality to voters regardless of race, ethnicity, etc. Grant was also one of the few generals who openly supported blacks in the Union soldiery during the Civil War. Very few blacks in the US vote Republican nowadays (they used to in the old days, very consistently since Republican = abolitionist/Democrat = slavery) and those that do are called Uncle Tom. Allen West, JC Watts, Alan Keyes, etc. = all Uncle Toms. I suppose Martin Luther King was an Uncle Tom for being a Republican too? And Frederick Douglass too? He was a Republican and an ex-slave. Etc. Most Americans are pathetically stupid on these historical tidbits. White liberals, aka the Democratic Party, are the ones who've always treated blacks in the US in a disgustingly patronizing fashion - not the Republicans. All the Dems want is for blacks in to be "good ol negros" and vote for the Democratic party, regardless of how bad it is for black Americans, regardless of the consequences, etc. What's sad to me is that blacks in the US have been fooled into thinking they're better off with the political party of choice of the defunct slave-owning class rather than the political party of the abolitionists. |
