The difference between mestizos and indio-mestizos?
 

At what percentage is the cut-off? Some pictures of mestizos and indio mestizos?

Mestizos are supposed to be balanced and indo-mestizos are predominantly Amerindian
I guess another user can post the percentage cut-off but I mostly go by phenotype

I can't tell the difference sometimes. Garcia49 is a good example. just look at him phenotype wise. the dude looks pred amerindian yet he scored close to 50/50 genetically.

^You can't be really sure until they get themselves tested on a autosomal DNA test if they really are those phenotypes.

Actually I think the second guy looks mestizo.

I'm going by pheno only. Percentages are very unpredictable when it come to mixed people.

An Indo mestizo is 1/4 spanish/euro and 3/4 native. What was known in colony times (and still to these days in Peru) as Cholo.

love i am honest, you're mexican and judging by your pic you're sort of caucasian, but you're a minority in mexico

even the average mexican mestizo often looks very different from a spaniard
