Default I am boycotting the NFL for the year 2012
I will not watch a single NFL game this year. The suspension of Sean Payton is an absolute disgrace and injustice.

And before anyone comes in and says the NFL doesn't care if I don't watch, remember to go fuck yourself before posting that.

The NFL's hypocritical position on safety is obnoxious and destroying the enjoyment value of the game. I feel like I can no longer enjoy the sport. Besides, the Eagles aren't winning anything any time soon.

I expected a suspension. Maybe a few games. A whole season is crazy, though.

In light of the penalties that the Patriots received for undermining the integrity of the sport, this is an utter disgrace. The NFL doesn't care about player safety and is only using Sean Payton and the Saints to try to dupe the public into thinking it cares.

What does boycotting do exactly. Doesn't get the 2004 Super Bowl trophy.

It will make me feel better about myself. Some of us, including myself, care too much about a sports industry that is a fucking joke. It will be nice to remove myself from the sport and enjoy other things. The NFL is a waste of time.

Hell, maybe this will be a permanent boycott. I will have to reconsider after a year away from the sport.

The NHL needs more fans. We welcome you.

Yeah, I'm gonna go set up a tent in Asia somewhere and get high all the time. I don't know if that's what Ricky Williams did during his hiatus but I feel like it's probably not far off.

Soapbox Conference will have to pay Rutgers Conference somewhere close to $5 million in previously paid bonuses, which could hinder completion of the deal.

Why don't you come to Denver and check out the NHL Conference's facilities while making your decision?

I agree that I don't think that is a fair punishment, but with the way they are ramping up protocol to protect players, initializing a bounty system seems to be directly against that protocol. Someone has to take the fall for it, and Peyton is the one who has the most control of what goes on with his team.

Go Flyers!

You seem like you are personally offended by my boycott. And I will try to refrain from spreading my wisdom to the Packers board, if that makes you happy.

That would be interesting to do rankings without watching any of the games, although that wouldn't be far off from what I've done the last few years. NFL Upset Challenge will be cancelled.

Some Packers fans around here seem to really hate the Saints for some reason. I think it probably ties into that.
