Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen

Peyton Manning will become the next quarterback of the Denver Broncos, barring a snag during intensified contract negotiations that have commenced under the instruction of the four-time MVP to his agent Tom Condon, according to multiple sources.

Doubt it, with Gabbert and Henne maybe Miami will throw its hat in the ring for Tebow. Seeing how they cant actually SIGN anyone.

Miami should sign Alex Smith and completly screw SF. Or stick with Matt Moore. Shocked that Flynn left there without a contract.

Agreed although I was pissed this morning at Ross Tucker ON NFL Radio, Now i dont think Alex Smith is an elite QB but Ross was running his mouth how it makes no sense to sign Alex Smith in Miami when they have Matt Moore and Smith is really no better than Moore.

WTF? Ive never seen Matt Moore come in other then for spot duty. Smith has a ton of games under his belt not to mention a few Playoff Gems..

If Smith was smart he would get over his butt-hurtedness and go back to SF.

at this point its all about the money now. IF the Dolphins offer him 8-9 million a year I dont think he gives a shit about San Fran.

Neither would I.

OH and one more thing, all week long Ive had to listen to Steve Young run his mouth about Manning definately going to San Fran.

STFU Steve, I think Aeneus Williams scrambled your brains.

Are u crazy out of your mind? Giving Smith 8 or 9 million a year? I'd stick with Moore and enter the Barkley sweepstakes next year.

I also thought if Manning was smart he would sign with them, but he didn't. I feel like they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders without him, and would have been really tough with him.

Lets just clear something up LEM, I do not think he is anywhere near that kind of money but if you are Alex Smith and a team like the Dolphins offer that, Dont you sign with the quickness?

If Tebow ends up in Miami I might just have to give up on the Dolphins. If they bring him in they will have sent a clear message that they have no desire to make decisions on a football basis because Tebow does NOT fit the scheme of the staff they just hired.

At this point they should probably just stick with Moore and draft Tannehill or Weeden. And to hell with trading UP to draft Tannehill. If Cleveland wants to reach for him at #4, let 'em. I'm not sure I'd even want to take him at #8.

How funny is it that Elway was saying that Tebow was his QB? An endorsement from Elway is going to be about as meaningful as an endorsement from George Steinbrenner going forward.

Everyone knew how Elway felt. I think he handled it pretty well.
