Can't say I hate it, I just have no interest at all in this "East Coast Bias" Bowl. I have no love or rooting interest in either team, and the Super Bowl to me in general is just an overhyped overblown extension of the playoffs w/ possibly better commercials which I tune out during the rest of the year, anyway.
I am grateful that at least this final week we had some close competitive games.
I just hope TCM has a decent movie on during that time slot.
...oh and only 26 more days 'til Pitchers and Catchers.

As for not watching, I get it. I didn't watch the Super Bowl the years the Vikings pissed their chance down their leg. Makes it awfully hard to digest for sure.
that isn't the reason. I'd have watched for sure if it was 9'ers and pats, though I really wanted the harbaugh bowl. this is a super bowl where I honestly do not want either team to win. i fucking hate brady's bitch ass "but he touched meeeeee" face, I especially hate that mothefucker belichick and I hate eli and the whole new york thing. fuck both teams.

I am reminded of how much I hated the SB in 2008, but it was an entertaining game and I think this one could be too. I hope Gronk is healthy, but it looked like his ankle was destroyed. The Pats are going to need him.

Fortunate. That's funny.
what else would you call 8 dropped passes that the other team had nothing to do with? almost every single one was a drive killer. that is a damn good example of the ball bouncing someone elses way if I've ever seen one.

seriously? I didn't see that. that sucks.

if eli and brady both go down with injuries early, then I will probably turn it on.

I agree, that the Packers even had a chance to win that game in the 4th quarter told me that the Giants would've been in trouble if there weren't 4 fumbles 1 int and 4 3rd down drops.

That play was largely due to the ineptness of GB's Db's, not some rare fluke.

Charlie fucking Peprah.

Not to mention them allowing Bradshaw to run for 23 yards the play before it.

It's time we all need to realize the Giants outplayed them. Not sure why fans are still making excuses.

a hail mary is a rare fluke, its a pass that never should be completed and rarely has a prayer, hence the fucking name. mccarthy should have throat punched every db within 5 yards of that catch, at halftime.

I dont disagree with that. But you have to admit the Packers played their worst game of the year, at least on offense. I realize the defense was a fucking sieve all year long but the offense? Except for the Kansas game, the offense was practically unstoppable.

The defense was asked twice to basically 'pick the offense up', and both times, they failed. Stop the f'ing CHIEFS, with a guy making his first start in their system, and he threw for 300 yards......and then stop Eli and the Giants.

Either way, I can honestly say this is a Super Bowl I just have no interest in. I don't have a deep rooted hatred for either team, but neither do I have any interest in watching Giants/Patriots II.

Whats the point of getting home field advantage through out the playoffs if you're going to lay an egg in the playoffs? Talk about disappointing.

Fortunate. That's funny.
I know, we see things with a bias opinion. The Giants beat them. The Packers gave them just alittle bit of help.

This was the theme all season long. If it wasnt for the turnovers, the opposing offenses were either going to get a touchdown or field goal.

Nor do I Whiskey, nor do I.

Well, he really just made it clear which team he did NOT want to play for.

AJ Smith has a tendency to rub people the wrong way.
Which to me, is a sign of arrogance. Again, I think you should be on your f'ing knees thanking God you have an opportunity to play a sport and make ridiculous amounts of money regardless of where you're going to play. I understand that players have a preference of who they would like to play for but keep it to yourself and just be grateful that you're going to play in the NFL.

a fluke is the most common fish in the sea. so if you go fishing for a fluke, chances are you just might catch one.

You just don't see a guy get a handoff and trying to run out the clock with no timeouts left, pick up 25 yards by running all the way across the field and get out of bounce. The next play is a 45 yard hail mary and the rest is history. You don't fish for that, it's 2 plays in a row that rarely ever happen. Very flukey

I'd call that poor execution by the Packers. They didn't get the job done.
