there has to be an AFC qb this year that was better than Rivers. Even Manning not playing this year is probably better.

I know this will sound like a homer pick, but Eli Manning making it over Matt Stafford, who has a higher QB rating, completion percentage, 10 more passing TDs, a better TD/INT ratio, and more team wins is a joke. Not only should Eli not be on the Pro Bowl roster, but I'd even argue that Matt Ryan has been as good or better than Manning. Stafford got jobbed. Not that I truly care a whole lot about the Pro Bowl, but given this is his first full year, and the Lions are heading to the playoffs b/c of him, it seems deserving for him to be the 3rd QB (more importantly b/c of all the stats I mentioned earlier).

Not really a homer view. I feel he should had been picked over Manning.

Yup, Stafford should've made it over Eli. No question.

Interesting that the NFC is so loaded, and the AFC really should only have two Pro Bowl QBs.

Philip Rivers doesn't really deserve to go, but who else does? Noone stands out. Dalton? Tebow? Moore? Yuck.

My favorites from that list

Tim Tebow
Drew Brees not being on someguys list
Chad Clifton and his 5 games he's played this year
McCoy isn't anyone's starter.

Rivers? Really? Is that how fucking terrible the AFC quarterbacks are this year? I'd rather see Andy Dalton in it.

I don't think there is much of an argument for anyone over Rivers. A lot of yards and a QB rating third out of all QB's who played even close to a full season.

Cost his team like 10 games this year.

That's a bit excessive, but he's better than the competition.

Stafford is quite good. I subtract points for the Packer game.

The Packers took away Johnson and he struggled.

I didn't see much else of him.

I would still give him the edge on Manning based on stats, but he's gotta do something in the playoffs before people will take notice.

I would say Dalton if he had won even one big game.

On paper the NFC team looks like it should dominate the AFC squad

Hasn't been for quite a while. The AFC has been very top heavy for a while.
