I am more of a fan of the lockerroom being for athletes and team members only. If there will be the opposite sex allowed in the locker room, it should be the same standard for both sexes.

I think that if you put a cute little chica with revealing clothes in a room with 60 amped up guys there is bound to be catcalls and other advances. And everyone knows that guys feed off what the other are doing, and trying to one-up their buddies also, which just escalates the situation.

I would agree that reporters probably shouldn't be allowed in the lockerroom, but I think that if you're going to let anyone in there, you have to let them all in there. And for those that say there's a double standard, there's a local reporter here in Detroit who also has a radio show. He said he has been in women's lockerrooms before. So maybe that's the case with some women's lockerrooms, but not all.

Wtf....why are any reporters aloud in the locker room.....this is a place where after the game or even practice that has alot of emotion and things going on, let the frickin athletes(any sport) cool down, take a shower get "dressed" and have a seperate room that they have to go to to talk to the press. Can't be that hard to fix this kind of thing, there have been lots of problems with reporters(male and female) in the locker rooms, just stop it all together. But that being said, if your gonna keep letting it happedn then it should be the same on both sides....men reporteers should be aloud into the womens rooms too.

Women should have the same access men do in reagards to sports reporting. That being said does either need to be in the locker room? Probably not, but they are. Sports journalism is pretty much a double edged sword, as for this case the lady wanting to measure muscles doesn't bring much to the table for her efforts.
