This is an underrated thread, but I agree with you that he is the most overrated player. |

He's by some considered to be the best half back in the NFL. Others consider him 1B to Peterson. I'm not sure if being argued if you're the best, or second best, is underrated. |

By some perhaps, but it seems to me like he doesn't get as much hype for someone playing like him. Hell, to be 1B to Peterson is being underrated. Now, there are some other RBs who are wildly underrated. As I mentioned above, Ray Rice had a monstrous season last year but still doesn't get any respect (he's rated 8th best RB on Madden next year.) Thomas Jones quietly puts up great seasons every year and nobody talks about him. And then there's Pierre Thomas who was the best RB on the Superbowl Champion Saints team and he's rarely even discussed (by the way, I expect him to have an awesome year this year.) Back to Chris Johnson, I don't think he's underrated. I think Peterson is just overrated. People fall in love with highlight reels and forget the flaws. |

I'll agree that saying Johnson is 1B to Peterson is underrating him -- but in the end I think he's rated about where he should be. Most people recognize he's either the best or second best RB in the league (I'd say easily the best but some may disagree.) |
