Let's just drop it, your argument in this case is just bad. i'll tell what a bad argument is: saying a guy who max is on the field for 6-7 plays a game is a better player than a guy who caught 112 passes last year for 1,175 yards and 8 tds. that's an awful argument. |

catching a punt or a kick isn't nearly the same as catching a bullet from a qb. awful comparison. |

You can't just say "which team is better" to substantiate that argument though. The point you just presented right here, that's much more intelligent/convincing/accurate. It's not as though Welker or Hester was the main cog in their team's success or failure. |

If you can catch a punt or kick, you absolutely have at least decent hands. You can improve on awareness and your hands by merely practicing the different drills that go into each aspect. Don't sit here and try to tell us that catching a punt or kickoff that goes about 200 yards in the air, with the wind and gravity forcing the ball back down only to send the ball into a wobbly tailspin that often misses the target you've begun at is easy. Sorry, but if you really think that catching a punt or a kickoff isn't difficult then I don't know what football it is that you watch. |

LOL. Well, considering the Patriots have Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Benjamin Watson, Maroney, and the best O-line in football? Yeah I'd definitely say a possession receiver is not the main cog of their offense. Just for comparison's sake, Watson has 116 receptions for a CAREER. |

You picked out one name out of the entire offense, great point. I would take Watson for the rest of his career over Welker, no doubt about it. MAIN POINT: Welker is not, nor will he ever be the main cog of the pats offense. It's one thing to make a shitty argument. It's another to try to perpetuate it by making an even shittier argument. Congrats on doing so. Where's Mo to judge a teams shittiness? |
