You can't just say "which team is better" to substantiate that argument though. The point you just presented right here, that's much more intelligent/convincing/accurate. It's not as though Welker or Hester was the main cog in their team's success or failure.

If you can catch a punt or kick, you absolutely have at least decent hands. You can improve on awareness and your hands by merely practicing the different drills that go into each aspect. Don't sit here and try to tell us that catching a punt or kickoff that goes about 200 yards in the air, with the wind and gravity forcing the ball back down only to send the ball into a wobbly tailspin that often misses the target you've begun at is easy. Yeah I'd also take Ricky Proehl Jr. in his prime over a 23 year old RB who averages 4.4 ypc and has scored 6 tds in both of his professional seasons (remember Welker only had 8 when he was supposedly the MAIN COG?). Welker has only once in his entire career amassed more than one td in an ENTIRE SEASON. Last season, on the BEST OFFENSE IN NFL HISTORY (okay, that vikes team was good too).
