If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit. The defense rests.

ESPN just said on the 30 minute update that his lawyers have gotten a deal of 1 year or less of jail, currently mulling it apparently.
If Vick doesn't take that considering all that's against him, he's a dumbass.

Of course it would be nice to know what the prosecution has on him as far as the witnesses who are ready to testify against Vick. That might muddy the prospect on whether to take the plea deal or not.

But none-the-less, being given only one year for all the bullshit he was involved with and did that's the deal of the century.

He deserves a fair trial first. Remember the Lacrosse team that was all but convicted very, very early.
That was an overzealous county DA.

This is the feds and a fed grand jury indictment.

Not even close to the same thing.

It's the same thing with the conviction in the court of the media and the court of public opinion. And he deserves a fair trial even though I think he's as guilty as sin.

Convicted by everything besides evidence... unlike Vick's case.

The biggest difference between the 2 being intent. Not saying at all that Little should even be a free man at this point, but that is certainly something that could help people have a worse opinion of somebody.

Yes, but there were never anything close to 4 plea bargains.

They are caught, dead-to-rights, and they know it.

He would be stupid to not take a plea deal.
but, if he does take it and admits guilt, he will NEVER get another sponsorship for the rest of his life unless dog fighting becomes legal and they form a league and they need someone to speak for them.

If he takes it, he won't play this year or next.

Beyond that is doubtful.

If he beats the rap, he plays next season, for somebody.

As long as its federal 'pound me in the ass' prison, I'm OK. I don't want any of this County Jail BS. I don't want him to be able to walk when he comes out.

Not if he's convicted of gambling on the dog fights.

I heard that they're alledging that he placed bets on the dog fights.

Let alone if he takes the plea deal, he will NEVER play in the NFL again on the grounds that he gambled on it.

I know he wish the XFL didn't fold.

I thought county jails and certain penitentaries had more tougher criminals?

IF HE BEATS IT, he plays.

If he takes the deal, I doubt he plays again, though it might be possible. As he gambled, but didn't bet on the NFL, he'd have grounds for reinstatement.

Two NFL players were gambling in Vegas and got in a fight a couple of months ago... Joey Porter and some guy from the Bengals, I think. No issues there.

Goodell could use the Gambling clause to suspend Vick for the season, but not a career banning. It wouldn't hold up in court (and you KNOW it would go there).
