Its been reported that Pacman Jones wants to appeal his one year suspension.

He has met with Roger Goodall once already, and the night before he met with the commish, he was once again at a strip club.

What a fucking dumbass.

Not exactly a good choice to make.

Default Pac Man = Idiot
This guy will never learn. It was just reported that the night before he met with Roger Goddell he got to NY a day early and that night went out to a strip club.

Good job, way to show right before your meeting that you have learned your lesson.

Its not. Just a terrible choice concerning the trouble he's already in concerning a strip club and a paralyzed man.

I think the trouble is not so much strip club related as it is delinquent related.

Oh, I agree.

But if you just got a drunk driving, you don't show up to your court date with a hangover or smelling of alcohol either.

It says a lot about the guy if he can't stay away from the clubs the night before he's to meet the commish.

I don't think it says much, personally, at least in this instance.

Now, if he would have gotten in a fight or gotten arrested the night before...then volumes would have been spoken.

I think it says a lot. If you're current situation was boiled over the pot due to your incidents at a strip club, and you are off to meet with the comissioner of the NFL about your actions and how you clean them up, yet go to a strip club the night before, it means he doesn't respect the commissioner, or his team - that he can't leave it alone.

I could be wrong on this, but haven't previous situations with him been the reuslt of strip clubs?

But my point is that the unless the strip club was directly associated with what he did, then it's just a place...he could've gotten into a fight at a bar, but if he visited a bar the night before, is that a serious offense?

I know some of his previous mishaps occurred at a strip club...

If he beat up a guy at a Walgreens, should he stay away from walgreens the night before?

You don't believe places lend themselves to increased probabilty of trouble (specifically being late at night, serving alcohol and etc)? I think there's a direct correlation from his attendance at such places to some of his incidents

Your walgreens example is too far removed from this situation to be pertinent.

If he's getting into fights because some other guy is eyeing up the chick's tits that he wants to go home with, then yes, it is a direct effect of being at a strip club.

In fact, you might be able to make the argument that him going to a strip club the night before and not getting into any trouble was a good thing on his part...that is, if you're going to make the case that inherent environment of a strip club caused him to act like a dick.

And, in regards to the alcohol at strip clubs, there are plenty around that are 18+ for age and don't serve alcohol. I don't know if these are the ones he visits or not.

No you can't make that argument as you can't say a strip club is 100% correlated to Pacman's violence, therefore by him going once or twice is a good sign. What I believe you can say is that strip clubs can sometimes be edgy places due to the people they draw. I on more than one occassion have had a problem at one for very stupid reasons, and I don't run around with 80k on my neck or 50k in my pocket. Somebody visiting that kind of establishing flashing that kind of wealth is a target for disaster at strip clubs, trendy nightclubs and etc. due to circumstance and clientele.

You can hang out around a crackhouse, and not get arrested, but if you failed a drug test, and were going to see the commish to lighten up on the sentence, would it be a wise choice to be seen in or near one the night before?

I would say no.

Let me also put it this way, you roll into knoxville for a UT LSU game decked out in LSU attire and go up to a large UTtailgaite and start talking a lot of shit. Is your probability higher in that circumstance to get into a fight, then it would have been if you say were in an area of all LSU people?

But crack is illegal...being at a strip club is not.

Not sure if you're again missing the point or being sarcastic, its situation and circumstance is the bottom line.

absolutely, you cannot take situation and circumstance and completely parse it from action.
