For someone who claims to be a Lions fan you seem to show a lot of love for other teams. Only reason I want the cowboys to win is because it kills eagles fans to see the cowboys do better than them. I'm anti everything philadelphia eagles. Whatever they can't stand to happen. I root to happen. Flyers and sixers fans aren't as arrogant so they don't bother me. People think the falcons but I just liked to watch michael vick play. Just like people like to watch reggie bush or LT or peyton. He's exciting to watch. Shame that's all he will ever be. He is never taking his game to the elite level. Vince Young brought me something no other team I rooted for did. A championship. And so many people were telling me he wasn't going to succeed at the next level. How can you not pull for a guy like that? |

Who else besides the lions and titans do I 'root' for? |

If you need help to get the sixth seed in the playoffs, you aren't better than 29 other teams. Titans have beat the eagles, giants, jags, colts, and buffalo. With one point loses at the ravens and at the colts mixed in. You can't point to 3 better teams right now. Charges and ravens. Only other team you can put in there is the bears. |

With your philosophy the bears are the best team in the league? It doesn't matter what your record is but how your playing towards the end of the year. Does it matter that they started off 0-3 with a QB that isnt playing now? Does that effect how good they are right now? Teams that are 5-2 or better in this stretch - Steelers, Cowboys, Patriots, Bears, Chargers, Ravens. That's six teams besides the Titans that have been as good or better than them. And five of them are playoff teams. I'd say those five playoff teams are better than Tennessee. Right now, the Titans aren't going to the playoffs. That may change in the next ten days, but that's all that matters, in the long run. Maybe this run builds up some steam for next season, but calling them better than teams that have been equal to them for a sample of the season and better over the course of the season is slightly misguided. |

Two of those wins were complete flukes. They should have lost to the Giants and the Jaguars. Hell, if QBs weren't so protected these days, they would have lost to the Giants. The steelers got crushed by the ravens today. So no. The cowboys are may be playing better but before you make that judgement you need to see the eagles game to say that. Hell the Eagles with a win against the cowboys can easily put themselves in this discussion as a top team. The titans I think are 6 or 7 and 2 with 5 wins in a row? Can't look it up but its close to that. They have beat 4 teams that have a great chance of being in the playoffs and 2 one point losses to the 2nd and 3rd best teams(by record) in the AFC. That's a pretty strong resume. Are they really playing like the 3rd best team in the league? If you go by wins and losses over this time frame, then yea. But I don't blame anyone for thinking I'm crazy. |
