did you see Buck's attempt at immitating Jimmy Johnson's "mean" glare yesterday? he asked Aikman, "was it like this?" then stared into the camera, seemingly without making any sort of different expression other than his normal one, and Aikman said, "no, his was mean." Buck just looked like, "mine wasn't mean? but it was supposed to be mean...."

You're just being a a St Louis homer

But you have to admit if his name was John Smith he wouldn't have his job.
haha yeah i know i am.

i dont think Buck is the greatest announcer of all time, but i really like him for baseball. Football i could without him, but baseball he's great. ive gotten a chance to see him work year in and year out and hes very entertaining and knowledgable.

I really like Dick Enberg on CBS. Yeah he's getting old and isn't as sharp as he once was. But his voice just reminds me of football

his commentary on Moss's fake moon was awful

He won't get my ratings. I've actually made the decision to watch the CBS pregame before turning over to Fox for the Vikes games. CBS used to be awful. But I like Shannon Sharpe. Marino and Boomer stink though. Luckily not as bad as Buck.

I stick with ESPN if I feel like watching the pregame.

i would say im the opposite. Shannon Sharpe annoys the holy hell outta me. I like James Brown, but thats about it. marino is ok...i guess.

i dont watch either pregame show to be honest, they usually just talk about Owens and Dallas and all those stupid teams they shouldnt be talking about.

I don't watch much pregame either, but it won't be on Fox anymore if I do watch it. Sharpe doesn't know that much, but I do think he and Brown work well together.

In my defense, I've only seen a few minutes of each of the past couple weeks. Probably 15 minutes total. He's made me laugh a few times. But that is all in limited exposure.

With that logic, I would imagine any midget would be a good football pregame analyst. Come to think of it...that's genius.
