Default Need a Digital Camera for sub £100
Im going on holiday soon and need a camera that can take great quality pictures but is also easy to use. So far im leaning towards one of these two:

1. Canon Powershot A480 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/158348...edium=products

2. Finepix A170 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-Fin...0827021&sr=1-6

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. After looking at some sample pictures the Canon ones look slightly better.

Both are good cameras for their price.

Personally I would go with Canon.

Thanks for the advice, Im leaning towards the canon too although it doesnt seem to do panoramic view but other than that its the same thing. Although it is £25 more expensive

Well I'm no expert on budget cameras but I think you should save the 25£. Get the Fuji then.

Of course someone here could know more. Just wait for the replies.

I know of the canon, and for a budget click and go its great, as long as things are lit well youll take some amazing shots with it, tho it really suffers in dark conditions, its very noisey, all in all tho i think youll enjoy it very much, considering its canons lowest price snapper, pure bargain imo

its very difficult to pick between those 2

canon usually isnt very good when it comes to high iso with its compacts, on the other hand fuji is only good when its a super CCD model.

i think canon has the edge here but only just. i've checked some shots with both of them on flickr. canon looks a little less processed and might leave you a little (but just) room for post processing.
