Default Opera
So lately I've been in the mood to listen to Opera, and a bit of celtic themed stuff.

My Opera knowledge is quite small. I've been listening to some Kathleen Battle recently.

What's some other good stuff to listen to? I've grown tired of rock and rap for now. Feels like they're beating at my skull. Opera seems a better stress reliever.

You mean like Classical era opera? Or modern stuff? Or Operetta? In english or not?

No language preference. I mostly prefer classical. But there's also some excellent modern/new-age stuff out there too.

Not much into operetta.

I'm currently in the process of writing a beginner's guide to opera, but in the meantime, I wanted to point out that the Metropolitan Opera is broadcasting its premiere production of Doctor Atomic on their website tonight at 8 AM ET. You'll need RealPlayer.
