Default God rays on the way down from Teide
On the way back down the mountain we met this section of forest which had been enshrouded in cloud. With the sunlight coming through the cloud and trees it looked phenomenol & luckily I managed to capture some of it with my camera...

Wow I love crepuscular rays. They're so atmospheric and magical. I've done that drive down mount Tiede too, had to keep stopping to let the cars brakes cool down. I thought the top of the mountain looked amazing. It's where they filmed planet of the apes if I remember correctly.

Heh... didn't know that.

Didn't visit the summit unfortunately - the observatories are a little bit off to the side on the secondary summit type bit.

There's god/sunrays in my backyard almost everymorning, well unless it's very dry

Ahhh... i suppose you are in netherlands & just about everything is built on water hehe

I remember driving through the night to the south east of netherlands & when the sun came up at one point the mist got crazy!
