Need Camera

Have $200 to $250, what is the best camera in that range?

Just general average joe picture taking. Would like a pocket type camera.

Canon A2000 or 1000 IS if you want slightly larger camera but with better optics. Or if you want small pocket camera go for the SD series, I have the SD750 just to keep in the glove box of my car and it takes great snaps on the go. Might look at the new 790IS

The best Canon A series that you can get. You really can't go wrong.
