From what I've heard it sound like the kind of lame almost rock that U2 have taken to producing in recent times. That said I've found Coldplay pretentious unimpressive tripe since '99. Plus they forever cheapened Computer Love by Kraftwerk. ![]() |

I really like the album, took a few listens but there are some great tracks on there;
Life in Technicolour 42 Lover's in Japan Violet Hill Viva la Vida Strawberry Swing its not that radical a departure as the press would have you belive, Brian Eno has over-produced the tracks somewhat, but no worse than Radiohead have in recent times. Not sure if anyone caught Coldplay Live at the BBC recently, it was up on the iPlayer for a while. It was a really good concert, I really liked the live version of Lost, sounds a lot more 'raw' than the album version. I ripped the audio from the concert so I can listen to it on my mp3 player. its good stuff. |
