28mm + .45x conversion lens ? how do you calculate this ?
 

my cam has 28mm wide angle lens on it, so when i put a .45x conversion lens on it what is the 35mm equivalent of this ??? 12mm ????

so nobody knows how this works ? like if i have a 504mm tele on my camera and add 2x teleconversion does it become 1000mm ?????? or does that work the same way with the wide side ? or is there another formula to calculate this ???

I only know how a teleconvertor works, not the other way. But yes, a 2.0x teleconvertor on a 500mm f4.0 lense would make it a 1000mm f8.0 lense, you would get a noticable decrease in quality though.

i found it on stevesfroum's wide angle works the same way.

yeah there is sort of a decrease in image quality especially with cheaper lenses but not something that cant be fixed with most photo editing software i'll post a review about converter lenses etc soon. at least sample images.
