Umm... just got Powershot A620! - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Well, ordered, at least. $195 shipped.

Anyway, my family and I are going on vacation, so we needed a smaller camera than the S2 IS we currently have.

I found out today that my dad ordered the A620 for our casual vacation use -- is it a good choice? It sure looks decent.

I love my 520, great camera for the $140 I paid.

i have the 610 which is the 5mp version and identical to the 620 and its one of the best for its money
and thats not just my opinion as most review sites say the same thing

I have the A610 (same thing, less MP) as my point and shoot and I'm satisified with it. It's no DSLR but I still think it's fine. I still use it sometimes over my D50, good for places where you just don't want to lug around a big camera.

It's got a great macro too.

hey man just bought mine at butterflyphoto.com for $213 shipped, where did you get yours? $195 shipped is a great price if its brand new!

i should get it in tomorrow, im wicked excited its supposed to be a awesome camera. its even better then the newer ones canon has released such as the A700.. then again the A700 isnt the A620's replacement but still lol

i bought 12 energizer 2500mah batteries and charger brand new for $32 shipped and a SanDisk 2GB ultra II sd card for $60

god i love the internet so much cheaper then real life shopping

i seriously doubt it they dont even carry it anymore and the A610 that they do offer is like $230. they used to offer it but they have been out of stock for a while now at there stores and online and probably will never be back in stock

so i dunno doesnt matteri suppose aslong as your getting the A620
